Townes’ first wrestling season ended in him taking 2nd place for his weight bracket at Conference. I never thought I’d be a wrestling mama, but it was so impressive watching his vigor, determination, and persistence throughout the season. Especially at conference where he had to push through some pretty painfully bruised knees. Not once did I see him back down or give less. He somehow managed to maintain the same level of intensity throughout. #proudmama

Every day for the past 12 years one thing has felt true. I don’t deserve you. One, because you deserve perfection, and that I am not. Two, because sometimes I don’t deserve what you put me through 😜. I am obsessed with this kid. I may not understand wrestling, but I love the fervor and intensity with which Townes attacks anything he does. I wish I was more like him. #proudmama #wrestling
